Toddler Storytimes introduce children (ages18 months to 3 years) to books with fun activities like finger plays and songs.
Preschoolers (ages 3 to 6 years) love meeting new friends and developing their imaginations, so the library offers several regularly scheduled preschool storytimes at all six locations to fit the scheduling needs of daycares, parents, and other caregivers.
Lap-Sit Story program occurs weekly for babies(ages 0-18 months) at the Franklin Avenue Library featuring rhymes, songs, bouncing, and a story or two on Tuesdays at 10:15 AM.
Family Jammie Storytime Plan to bring the entire family to snuggle up and enjoy bedtime stories. Offered Mondays at 6:30 PM. (Jammies optional) It's a great way for parents and families to listen to stories and enjoy a relaxing evening together.

Saturdays are always special at the Central Library thanks to the fun programs for children offered each week! You never know who or what you might find - from puppets to greyhounds, bugs to costume characters - there's always something especially fun for kids!
