Database Searching at the Des Moines Public Library
What is a database? A database contains books and articles (or points to them) like a library does, but in electronic form on your computer instead of in the library on a shelf. Databases are very powerful ways of accessing the world of information, especially beyond the four walls of house or library. It means that through your home library you have access to almost anythingin the United States.
